    DESKRIPSI TINGKAT KEPUASAN MASYARAKAT TERHADAP PELAYANAN DI SATUAN PENYELENGGARA ADMINISTRASI SURAT IZIN MENGEMUDI KEPOLISIAN RESOR KOTA MANADO MENGGUNAKAN REGRESI LOGISTIK ORDINALABSTRAKPelayanan publik pada dasarnya berkaitan dengan aspek kehidupan yang sangat luas. Dalam kehidupan bernegara, pemerintah memiliki fungsi untuk memberikan berbagai pelayanan publik yang sebaik-baiknya untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat. Polri yang merupakan salah satu bagian pemerintah yang bertugas memberikan pelayanan kepada masyarakat terlebih khusus dalam hal pengurusan dan penerbitan surat izin mengemudi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tingkat kepuasan masyarakat terhadap pelayanan di Satpas Polresta Manado dan menentukan variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan. Penelitian dilakukan di Satpas Polresta Manado dan beberapa tempat, seperti Yayasan Don Bosco Manado dan Universitas Sam Ratulangi Manado selama 5 bulan sejak Februari sampai Juli 2017. Data yang digunakan adalah data primer yang diperoleh melalui kuisioner yang dibagikan kepada responden. Dengan menggunakan regresi logistik ordinal diperoleh bahwa sebesar 86% masyarakat puas terhadap kinerja Polri. Variabel yang berpengaruh signifikan adalah cara pelayanan yang ramah dan sopan, informasi dalam mengisi formulir, serta fasilitas yang disediakan.Kata kunci: regresi logistik ordinal, surat izin mengemudi, dan pelayanan publik DESCRIPTION OF SATISFACTION LEVEL OF THE COMMUNITY ON SERVICE AT ADMINISTRATION UNIT DRIVING LICENSE OF MANADO CITY POLICE USING ORDINAL LOGISTIC REGRESSION ABSTRACTPublic service is basically related to a very broad aspect of life. In the life of the state, the government has a function to provide the best public services to meet the needs of the community. Polri which is one part of the government in charge of providing services to the public, especially in terms of the management and issuance of driver's license. This study aims to describe the level of public satisfaction of service in Satpas Polresta Manado and determine the variables that have significant effect. The research was conducted at Satpas Polresta Manado and several place such as Don Bosco Manado Foundation and Sam Ratulangi University Manado for 5 month from February to July 2017. The data used are primary data obtained through questionnaires distributed through respondents. By using ordinal logistic regression, 86% of the people are satisfied with the performance of the Polri. The variables that have a significant influence is the way the service friendly and polite, the information in filling out the form, as well as the facilities provided

    Status of the Frankfurt 14 GHz-ECRIS-(ve)RFQ Facility

    The accelerator facility installed at the Institut fuer Kernphysik (IKF) combines a 14 GHz electron cyclotron resonance ion source (ECRIS) and a variable energy radio frequency quadrupole accelerator (ve-RFQ)[1,2]. The provided highly charged ions have an energy range between a few keV - using the beam delivered from the source - up to 200 keV/u by using the post acceleration of the ve-RFQ. The setup is designed to deliver a wide spectrum of ions in sufficiently high charged states for atomic physics and materials research. Besides this the ion source is used for studies of the production of highly charged ions with the intention to improve quality and intensity of ion beams. In addition to these activities there are some special topics which deal with the investigation of phenomena on the ECRIS plasma and the production of metal ions by laser ablation technique (see also contributions to this workshop S. Runkel et al. And V. Mironov et. al). The present status and further activities of the facility and a view of the different projects will be reported

    Bombardment of CO ice by cosmic rays: I. Experimental insights into the microphysics of molecule destruction and sputtering

    We present a dedicated experimental study of microscopic mechanisms controlling radiolysis and sputtering of astrophysical ices due to their bombardment by cosmic ray ions. Such ions are slowed down due to inelastic collisions with bound electrons, resulting in ionization and excitation of ice molecules. In experiments on CO ice irradiation, we show that the relative contribution of these two mechanisms of energy loss to molecule destruction and sputtering can be probed by selecting ion energies near the peak of the electronic stopping power. We have observed a significant asymmetry, both in the destruction cross section and the sputtering yield, for pairs of ion energies corresponding to same values of the stopping power on either side of the peak. This implies that the stopping power does not solely control these processes, as usually assumed in the literature. Our results suggest that electronic excitations represent a significantly more efficient channel for radiolysis and, possibly, also for sputtering of CO ice. We also show that the charge state of incident ions as well as the rate for CO+^+ production in the ice have negligible effect on these processes.Comment: Accepted for publication in Ap

    Molecular-rotation-induced splitting of the binary ridge in the velocity map of sub-eV H+ ions ejected from H2 molecules by ion impact

    In studies of ion-induced molecular fragmentation, the challenging measurement of the velocity distribution of fragments emitted below 1-eV kinetic energy is rarely achieved, although most fragments have an energy below this value. Here, we study H+ fragment emission in collisions of 10-keV O+ ions with H2 molecules using a field-free time-of-flight technique developed specifically to detect sub-eV fragments. We find that, in the velocity map, the binary ridge due to direct H+ knockout is split into two parts arising from the rotational motion of the H2 molecule, and that this split scales with rotational velocity. The velocity distribution of the nuclei in the original molecule is determined and the thermally populated J = 1 rotational level is found to be the dominant contributor, although asymmetry in the split indicates projectile-induced rotational transitions between M sub-levels. These rotation effects influence fragment emission probabilities, thus carrying important consequences for the radiation-induced hydrogen loss and H2 dissociation in the atmospheres or exospheres of planets and moons

    Energetic Electron Irradiations of Amorphous and Crystalline Sulphur-Bearing Astrochemical Ices

    Laboratory experiments have confirmed that the radiolytic decay rate of astrochemical ice analogues is dependent upon the solid phase of the target ice, with some crystalline molecular ices being more radio-resistant than their amorphous counterparts. The degree of radio-resistance exhibited by crystalline ice phases is dependent upon the nature, strength, and extent of the intermolecular interactions that characterise their solid structure. For example, it has been shown that crystalline CH3OH decays at a significantly slower rate when irradiated by 2 keV electrons at 20 K than does the amorphous phase due to the stabilising effect imparted by the presence of an extensive array of strong hydrogen bonds. These results have important consequences for the astrochemistry of interstellar ices and outer Solar System bodies, as they imply that the chemical products arising from the irradiation of amorphous ices (which may include prebiotic molecules relevant to biology) should be more abundant than those arising from similar irradiations of crystalline phases. In this present study, we have extended our work on this subject by performing comparative energetic electron irradiations of the amorphous and crystalline phases of the sulphur-bearing molecules H2S and SO2 at 20 K. We have found evidence for phase-dependent chemistry in both these species, with the radiation-induced exponential decay of amorphous H2S being more rapid than that of the crystalline phase, similar to the effect that has been previously observed for CH3OH. For SO2, two fluence regimes are apparent: a low-fluence regime in which the crystalline ice exhibits a rapid exponential decay while the amorphous ice possibly resists decay, and a high-fluence regime in which both phases undergo slow exponential-like decays. We have discussed our results in the contexts of interstellar and Solar System ice astrochemistry and the formation of sulphur allotropes and residues in these settings

    Sulfur Ion Implantations Into Condensed CO2: Implications for Europa

    The ubiquity of sulfur ions within the Jovian magnetosphere has led to suggestions that the implantation of these ions into the surface of Europa may lead to the formation of SO2. However, previous studies on the implantation of sulfur ions into H2O ice (the dominant species on the Europan surface) have failed to detect SO2 formation. Other studies concerned with similar implantations into CO2 ice, which is also known to exist on Europa, have offered seemingly conflicting results. In this letter, we describe the results of a study on the implantation of 290 keV S+ ions into condensed CO2 at 20 and 70 K. Our results demonstrate that SO2 is observed after implantation at 20 K, but not at the Europa-relevant temperature of 70 K. We conclude that this process is likely not a reasonable mechanism for SO2 formation on Europa, and that other mechanisms should be explored instead

    A systematic mid-infrared spectroscopic study of thermally processed SO2 ices

    The use of mid-infrared spectroscopy to characterise the chemistry of icy interstellar and Solar System environments will be exploited in the near future to better understand the chemical processes and molecular inventories in various astronomical environments. This is, in part, due to observational work made possible by the recently launched James Webb Space Telescope as well as forthcoming missions to the outer Solar System that will observe in the mid-infrared spectroscopic region (e.g., the Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer and the Europa Clipper missions). However, such spectroscopic characterisations are crucially reliant upon the generation of laboratory data for comparative purposes. In this paper, we present an extensive mid-infrared characterisation of SO2 ice condensed at several cryogenic temperatures between 20 and 100 K and thermally annealed to sublimation in an ultrahigh-vacuum system. Our results are anticipated to be useful in confirming the detection (and possibly thermal history) of SO2 on various Solar System bodies, such as Ceres and the icy Galilean moons of Jupiter, as well as in interstellar icy grain mantles

    Antineoplastic Drugs as a Potential Risk Factor in Occupational Settings: Mechanisms of Action at the Cell Level, Genotoxic Effects, and Their Detection Using Different Biomarkers

    U članku je prikazana osnovna podjela antineoplastičnih lijekova prema mehanizmima djelovanja na razini stanice. Objašnjeni su mehanizmi genotoksičnosti najvažnijih vrsta lijekova koji se primjenjuju u okviru uobičajenih protokola za liječenje zloćudnih novotvorina. Navedena je važeća klasifi kacija antineoplastika prema kancerogenom potencijalu, podaci o mutagenom potencijalu te je prikazana njihova podjela u skladu s anatomsko-terapijsko-kemijskim sustavom klasifi kacije. Sustavno su prikazani najvažniji rezultati svjetskih i hrvatskih istraživanja na populacijama radnika izloženih antineoplasticima, provedenih u razdoblju 1980.-2009. s pomoću četiri najčešće primjenjivane metode: analize izmjena sestrinskih kromatida, analize kromosomskih aberacija, mikronukleus-testa i komet-testa. Objašnjena su osnovna načela navedenih metoda te raspravljene njihove prednosti i nedostaci. Biološki pokazatelji daju važne podatke o individualnoj osjetljivosti profesionalno izloženih ispitanika koji mogu poslužiti unaprjeđenju postojećih uvjeta rada i upravljanju rizicima pri izloženosti genotoksičnim agensima. Na osnovi prednosti i nedostataka citogenetičkih metoda zaključeno je da je mikronukleus-test, koji podjednako uspješno dokazuje klastogene i aneugene učinke, jedna od najboljih metoda dostupnih za otkrivanje štetnih djelovanja antineoplastičnih lijekova koji su u aktivnoj primjeni.This article brings an overview of the mechanisms of action of antineoplastic drugs used in the clinical setting. It also describes the genotoxic potentials of the most important classes of antineoplastic drugs involved in standard chemotherapy protocols. Classifi cation of antineoplastic drugs according to the IARC monographs on the evaluation of carcinogenic risks to humans is accompanied by data on their mutagenicity and the most recent updates in the Anatomical Therapeutic Chemical (ATC) Classifi cation System. We report the main fi ndings of biomonitoring studies that were conducted in exposed healthcare workers all over the world between 1980 and 2009 using four biomarkers: sister chromatid exchanges, chromosome aberrations, micronuclei. and the comet assay. The methods are briefl y explained and their advantages and disadvantages discussed. Biomarkers provide important information on individual genome sensitivity, which eventually might help to improve current working practices and to manage the risks related with exposure to genotoxic agents. Taking into consideration all known advantages and drawbacks of the existing cytogenetic methods, the micronucleus assay, which is able to detect both clastogenic and aneugenic action, is the most suitable biomarker for assessing harmful effects of antineoplastic drugs currently used in health care

    Independent and combined effects of improved water, sanitation, and hygiene, and improved complementary feeding, on child stunting and anaemia in rural Zimbabwe: a cluster-randomised trial.

    BACKGROUND: Child stunting reduces survival and impairs neurodevelopment. We tested the independent and combined effects of improved water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH), and improved infant and young child feeding (IYCF) on stunting and anaemia in in Zimbabwe. METHODS: We did a cluster-randomised, community-based, 2 × 2 factorial trial in two rural districts in Zimbabwe. Clusters were defined as the catchment area of between one and four village health workers employed by the Zimbabwe Ministry of Health and Child Care. Women were eligible for inclusion if they permanently lived in clusters and were confirmed pregnant. Clusters were randomly assigned (1:1:1:1) to standard of care (52 clusters), IYCF (20 g of a small-quantity lipid-based nutrient supplement per day from age 6 to 18 months plus complementary feeding counselling; 53 clusters), WASH (construction of a ventilated improved pit latrine, provision of two handwashing stations, liquid soap, chlorine, and play space plus hygiene counselling; 53 clusters), or IYCF plus WASH (53 clusters). A constrained randomisation technique was used to achieve balance across the groups for 14 variables related to geography, demography, water access, and community-level sanitation coverage. Masking of participants and fieldworkers was not possible. The primary outcomes were infant length-for-age Z score and haemoglobin concentrations at 18 months of age among children born to mothers who were HIV negative during pregnancy. These outcomes were analysed in the intention-to-treat population. We estimated the effects of the interventions by comparing the two IYCF groups with the two non-IYCF groups and the two WASH groups with the two non-WASH groups, except for outcomes that had an important statistical interaction between the interventions. This trial is registered with ClinicalTrials.gov, number NCT01824940. FINDINGS: Between Nov 22, 2012, and March 27, 2015, 5280 pregnant women were enrolled from 211 clusters. 3686 children born to HIV-negative mothers were assessed at age 18 months (884 in the standard of care group from 52 clusters, 893 in the IYCF group from 53 clusters, 918 in the WASH group from 53 clusters, and 991 in the IYCF plus WASH group from 51 clusters). In the IYCF intervention groups, the mean length-for-age Z score was 0·16 (95% CI 0·08-0·23) higher and the mean haemoglobin concentration was 2·03 g/L (1·28-2·79) higher than those in the non-IYCF intervention groups. The IYCF intervention reduced the number of stunted children from 620 (35%) of 1792 to 514 (27%) of 1879, and the number of children with anaemia from 245 (13·9%) of 1759 to 193 (10·5%) of 1845. The WASH intervention had no effect on either primary outcome. Neither intervention reduced the prevalence of diarrhoea at 12 or 18 months. No trial-related serious adverse events, and only three trial-related adverse events, were reported. INTERPRETATION: Household-level elementary WASH interventions implemented in rural areas in low-income countries are unlikely to reduce stunting or anaemia and might not reduce diarrhoea. Implementation of these WASH interventions in combination with IYCF interventions is unlikely to reduce stunting or anaemia more than implementation of IYCF alone.
